The Shay Station Coffee Company, a coffee shop and restaurant located in downtown Cadillac, Michigan, opened in 2006. Like any new business, they were in need of a web site, and Freelancer Productions was there to help.
The Shay Station needed their site to provide information about their menu, their specials, and the many events held at their facility. Since this information was frequently updated, we designed their site around a content management system, making it easy for the Shay Station’s staff to update the site.
The design of the Shay Station’s site uses a color scheme made up of light shades of brown and yellow, mimicking the look of the coffee shop’s menus. Photos of the Shay Station’s interior, as well as many of their menu items, add a visual interest to a largely text-based site.
